TOTO reunited with Joseph Williams
Toto have reunited with Joseph Williams to do a few selected dates in europe. Not only Williams is in, Steve Porcaro is too and David Paich are playing live again. The concerts are to honor Mike Porcaro who’s suffering from ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease). Nathan East will be guest on the mini-tour on bass.
Joseph Williams were in the band between 1985 to 1989 and did 2 superb records in Fahrenheit and The Seventh One. Steve Porcaro left the band officially in 1987 but have played on many of Toto’s record since, the last years he has worked with film scores. David Paich didn’t tour with the band the last years for personal reason but were always a member of the group.
Last year Steve Lukather officially said that Toto were disbanded and that there will be no more Hold The Line…
The lineup:
Steve Lukather: guitars, vocals
Joseph Williams: vocals
David Paich: keyboards, vocals
Simon Phillips: drums
Steve Porcaro: keyboards
Nathan East: bass
Now the guys are back again, with a different lineup and for a few selected dates in europe. For us in Scandinavia it means that Toto will play at KB-Hallen in Copenhagen on july 20th. Tickets are now on sale.
